Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Auden always spends her time trying to please her mom by getting good grades. But, for the first summer she’s going to her dad’s house to visit her new mom and baby sister. There she meets a mysterious stranger named Eli. Eli and Auden are on a quest. How will it turn out? I recommend this book to people who like and want to read a mystery.

Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick
Max thought he had no brain. He wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. Of course it didn’t help that he was gigantic and still growing. On the other hand, Kevin, A.K.A. “Freak,” is a midget who just so happens to be very, very smart. Kevin and Max made friends. Together they are “Freak the Mighty.” I recommend this book because of the humor in it, it’s perfect plot, and every event ties into the story eventually. This book is unusual, but in a good way.
